Growing up I was first introduced to Superman by seeing Superman II on the television, but living in Australia I got to see the international cut of the film (little was I to know at the time that when I grew up and purchased my own copy of this film, either on DVD or Blu-Ray I would never see this version again). I hadn’t seen Superman: The Movie at that stage, I knew a lot about the first movie however by watching the montage at the start of Superman II, something you don’t see much of today. Eventually, I finally got to see Superman: The Movie and I noticed that Superman and I had something in common, we were both adopted. I fell in love with the character even more after that, especially the portrayal of Superman/Clark Kent by Christopher Reeve. He will always be my Superman. From this point on I was a Superman fan and a fan of all things DC. If it is Superman or DC related, I watch it.
This website I have created is something I have wanted to do for a while now. It includes the news as I view it about Superman and the DC world in movies and television and I explain it all in my way of thinking.
